IPC and Canoecopia 2023: See you there!

The Illinois Paddling Council again looks forward to exhibiting at Canoecopia 2023 hosted by Rutabaga Paddlesports in Madison, Wisconsin. We’ll be there with information and handouts and the always-popular but never-to-be-taken-lightly lowhead dam simulator, which graphically demonstrates what happens when paddlecraft attempt to paddle over lowhead dams and get caught in ‘rollers’. 

In addition, they’ll have “the best selection of the season” of “more than 100,000 square feet of kayaks, canoes, stand up paddleboards, outdoor equipment and clothing” so it’s a great place to see the latest and best selection of paddling gear.
