IPC Races
There are 11 races within the IPC circuit. Racers earn points when they place in their division. At the end of the season, the people with the most points will be awarded the IPC honor as the Top Paddler in Illinois, in their particular division. You must race in at least 4 IPC races to be considered for the Top Paddler awards. Most of the races are under 10 miles long and have classes to fit just about any type of boat you may want to race in. Do you have to be an experienced racer? NO! All skill levels are encouraged to participate. It’s a wonderful way to make new paddling friends and have a great time.
