Come and challenge your canoe, kayak, racing skills at the Illinois Paddling Council Pontiac Race, located Play Park, Pontiac IL on the Vermillion River (303 E Grove St, Pontiac, IL. This is a 9 mile upstream downstream race so no shuttling is required because the race starts and ends in the same location.
The Race upstream about 4.5 miles to a counterclockwise turn around a rock. After turning around the race ends at the start line. Total mileage about 9 miles.
