IPC annual Dinner 11/8/2025
SAVE THE DATE! IPC 2025 GATHERING OF THE PADDLERS THIS NOVEMBER 8
The 2025 “Gathering of the Paddlers”, also known as the IPC Annual Dinner is scheduled for November 8 2025. This year we will be at The Office Dining and Spirits, a “gastropub” along the Fox River in beautiful downtown St. Charles Illinois. Our guest speaker is Illinois’ own Jim Tibensky.
Jim has a lifelong love of volunteering and takes youth on therapy trips to the Everglades and the Coast of Maine and rescues injured aquatic birds from his kayak. He started canoe racing in 1966 before it was much of a sport in the US and has been on expeditions from the Mississippi River to the Grand Canyon and Greenland. Jim Tibensky will share some of those experiences and more in his well-titled talk and presentation “Things Jim Has Done in Canoes and Kayaks That You’re Sure to Find Interesting and as Much Fun as He Did”.
