DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Annual Gathering of the Paddlers Dinner: Saturday\, November 8 2025 at 5:30pm. \nPlease note the reception and networking begins at 5:30 and the program and dinner will begin at 6:00 pm\, it’s encouraged to arrive between 5:15 pm and 5:30 pm to get your seat before the program kicks off. \nThis year our featured speaker is Jim Tibensky. Jim has a lifelong love of volunteering and takes youth on therapy trips to the Everglades and the Coast of Maine and rescues injured aquatic birds from his kayak. He started canoe racing in 1966 before it was much of a sport in the US and has been on expeditions from the Mississippi River to the Grand Canyon and Greenland. Jim Tibensky will share some of those experiences and more in his well-titled talk and presentation “Things Jim Has Done in Canoes and Kayaks That You’re Sure to Find Interesting and as Much Fun as He Did”. \nDinner is buffet style and will include a vegetarian option.
